It has a unique design and a strange-sounding name, but it is one very nice mod that everyone is talking about. The VooPoo Too Resin 180W mod is sleek and stylish and delivers the power to create clouds of vapor. It comes with the Uforce T1 tank with bottom airflow control and matching resin drip tip.
VOOPOO TOO Resin 180W Testing and Performance
I have had this mod for about two weeks and I’m loving it. I wasn’t so sure if I’d like it at first because of all the hype over the previous model, the Drag. But I found it to be easy to use and performs very well. It is a high-quality device and allows the user to customize their settings to the way they vape.
During the testing period, I have had no issues with it as far as leaking, gurgling or spitting. The menu system is a bit different but you get the hang of it pretty easily. It also has the power curve settings in memory mode just like the Drag.
Build quality and Design
The design of this mod is aesthetically pleasing. The colors available are Seafoam, Malachite, Opal, Amber, and Iolite. The resin design is reminiscent of tortoiseshell in colors varying from green to yellow, yellow to purple, red to black and black to purple. The proprietary drip tips are in corresponding colors making it a very attractive mod and tank set up. I love the rounded corners on the top cap of the tank and the slide-back opening to refill juice. It is very easy to open and close and no spills.
The mod itself is sturdy and feels good in the hand. It has a heaviness to it that says it is well-made. The magnetic doors are on a track and can be removed if necessary and replaced. Don’t worry if they accidentally come off while trying to get your battery out, they will go right back on.
Ease of Use
This device is very easy to use. Just put it in wattage mode, voltage mode or temperature control mode and vape. Wattage is increased by pressing the plus button and goes up to 80W with one battery and up to 180W with two batteries. The OLED display screen is bright and easy to read and the menu system is pretty easy to understand.
The form factor is very familiar. It’s a box mod but with a little twist. The doors come out a bit in the center making it easy to grip to slide open and closed. It fits the hand and the buttons are accessible but it is not small enough to close your hand around. I hold mine in my right hand and press the button with my thumb to take a draw. It is very easy and very comfortable.
Features and Functions
Features for this device include temperature control, customizable memory settings, sturdy zinc alloy construction, built-in user protections, Gene chip technology, upgradable firmware, and the ability to use with a single 18650 battery for 80W or 180W with 2 batteries.
The accompanying tank, the Uforce T1, is a great little cloud chucker. It comes with a spare glass tank and extra coil head. The bubble tank holds 8 mils of juice while the flat glass tank holds 3 mils. So far I have had no issues with leaking and despite the juice slot being a little small, it is easy to fill and produces great vapor. I say it is practically leak-proof because I have no juice leaks, even when the mod is laying down flat in my purse.
The battery doors are magnetic and slide open to facilitate battery changes. Some people like them and some don’t because they can easily become a fidget object without you really noticing it. It is easy to push the door open with your thumb and just slide it back and forth. I catch myself doing it but it’s not a con for me. Also, the doors slide open in opposite directions but the batteries are secure and will not fall out if a door is opened accidentally.
Priced between $50 and $60 through most online retailers, this mod and tank kit is a steal at that price for a complete setup that does temperature control. I’ve seen similar kits for $85 and up so it is definitely worth having in your vape gear.
Wattage and Power
I typically run it with the two batteries because I like the ability to use higher wattage sometimes, but I like the option of using it with just one 18650 battery. Sometimes when charging my batteries I’ll have one that’s fully charged and the rest in the charger and can’t use my other mods with just one. So this is a nice change to be able to use just one. The power is as good at 80W as it is at 180W. The minute you press the power button you’re vaping, there is no delay. It is very fast and reliable. Battery life for me depends on what type of atomizer I’m using and the wattage I have set. The coil I’m using now is the .04 and I have the wattage set at 40W. At this rate, the battery power will last me most of the day. If I turn it up or set it to one of the memory settings with higher wattage, I’ll have to change the batteries halfway through the day.

– I really can’t find anything I don’t like about it.
I found myself really liking this mod and I think other intermediate vapers will too. It has a great look, plenty of power to get the job done, and customizable settings to let you have the best vape experience based on your own preferences. It is definitely a mod worth having and I recommend it to any vapers who want a great box mod at a great price. It does everything it promises, and more.
