The Endura T20 by Innokin is a vape pen designed for beginners who want a little more battery life and vapor from their vape device. This new and improved style of vape pen has a built-in 1500mah battery and Innokin’s signature Prism tank to provide more time between charges and smooth vapor production. Its size makes it easy to stash in your pocket for quick trips out and about.
Innokin Endura T20 Testing and Performance
I spent a few days reviewing this device and I find it to be very good at producing a good amount of vapor for a device with a maximum output of 13W. This is mostly due to the increased efficiency of the Prism coil head to use high VG-based e-liquids. It is a 1.5-ohm coil and is rated for 12-14W max.
This device is designed for mouth-to-lung style vaping and would work really well for someone just getting off cigarettes because the draw is so similar. It is a little restrictive but that is part of the reason it works well in the vapor department.
Build quality and design
The design is pretty simple. It looks like similar pen-style devices. It comes with a protective cap that is great for keeping things out of your drip tip when stored in your purse.
It physically resembles a lot of other vape pens with similar functions. It is visually appealing with a sleek, smooth feel to it. It comes in 4 colors: blue, black, red, and stainless steel.
Durability/Reliability
It is pretty durable for a vape pen. I haven’t had the opportunity to see how it handles accidents yet, but it feels like it could take a beating and be just fine. The device feels very solid and well-made. No loose or rattling parts and it is easy to take apart to clean.
It charges with a Micro USB cable in about 1 ½ – 2 hours and has been lasting me about 4 hours if I do not chain vape. I like to plug mine into the USB port on my computer while I do household tasks because it is usually finished by the time I am and doesn’t hog use of wall sockets.
Ease of Use
This device is so simple to use. Just one button to worry about. Three clicks on and three clicks off. We’re all getting used to 5, but this one uses 3.
There is a battery indicator light on the power button to let you know the status of your battery. There is nothing to set, nothing to adjust and no screens to look at. Just one simple function.
Vaping Experience
One big difference between the Endura T20 Prism tank and pens with similar tanks is the enhanced flavor produced by the coil heads. The unique design of the coil heads with their odd-looking feed slots is what produces some of the best-tasting vapor from a simple (not technologically advanced) device.
Filling
The tank is a top-fill design and is really easy to fill. Just unscrew the top cap, point your bottle tip between the glass (away from the center of the chimney) and the outer wall of the chimney and squeeze to fill. Leave a little pocket of airspace at the top.
Leaking
Up to this point, I have had no issues with leaking. When changing the coil you must remember to the make sure the tank is completely empty because the coil head sits at the base and is removed by turning the tank upside down and pulling the coil straight up. If the tank is not empty, the coil sliding out will send juice spilling right out through your drip tip.
Cloud
The vapor produced by the device is roughly the same as some of the similar Smok products. The vapor production is good and the clouds are thick. You won’t fill up a room with it, but it is good for a lower wattage device.
Flavor
The flavor is great. I would say largely due to the coils and restricted airflow. The Prism technology is great for producing great flavor and fluffy vapor clouds.
What We Liked
+ Nice-looking drip tip cap
+ Simple, easy to use device
+ Coils produce great flavor
+ Choice of 2 battery sizes: 1500mah or 1000mah
What We Didn’t
– Only 1 coil head, no spare included
– Set wattage output
– No adjustable airflow
– Must empty tank to change the coil
Value
I looked around at a handful of best online vape stores and found this device to be priced between $19.99 and $23.99 which is a great price for a complete kit. There is nothing else to buy other than juice to fill it up. It is a good value for the money.
Final Verdict
While this device was designed for beginning vapers, many seasoned vapers like the mouth-to-lung draw and ease of use. This would make a great device to give to someone looking to quit cigarettes, or as a backup device to keep on hand for emergencies. More advanced vapers would like this device but it may not meet their needs as an all-day vape.
